Valentine’s Day traces its origin back to ancient Rome. No one really knows who
the real Saint was; though records indicate that he was a pious priest known to
have helped lovers unite. It is widely believed that in those days the Roman emperor
had forbidden soldiers to marry. He believed that celibate young men were pure
and made powerful soldiers. Saint
