Later the Christians started observing the day as Christ’s resurrection. Disciples started to believe that Christ took  re-birth started living amongst the common man. This is the myth behind the Easter celebration.

Later both the themes of pagan and Christians are joined and people observe the day by sharing gifts and feasting with friends and families. Easter is a celebration for all. Though, eastern churches or the orthodoxies observe the day for two weeks while the western churches or the Gregorian believed to celebrate only one Sunday for Easter.

Today, people celebrate Easter by merry making with near and dear ones. They eat and drink in the name of Jesus and their good luck. They also share gifts and cards to others. Friends and families plan for dinner celebrations on this auspicious day.
