Children’s Christmas Plays

The celebrated Christmas Plays are: The Gift of the Magi, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, The Christmas Carol, The Christmas Schooner, The musical, Hannukatz, It's a Wonderful Life, A Klingon Christmas Carol, It's A Wonderful Pro-Life, Nutcracker Ballet or the Sugar Plum Fairy tales and many others.

Kids love to perform in holiday dramas and short skits. Music is another important ingredient that makes the play more entertaining. Therefore, incorporation of melodies and music can make the plays more appealing. Playwrights often prefer to add musicals in the plays so that they can create the plays livelier. Often Christmas carols become an integral part of these dramas.

The Best of the Children Christmas Plays are:

1.    The Gift of the Magi: This is a beautiful skit that is usually performed are the churches and schools. This play centers the story of The Three Men from East, who came this much far to Bethlehem to gift baby Jesus with myrrh, frankincense and Gold.  This is how they welcomed the Son of God in the mortal world. Little kids are often dressed in colorful nativity dresses, so that they can make the characters livelier. If the directors consider, they can also add music and melodies in this play. Usually, the background score is set to create teh ambience of the play. Kids enjoy performing Christian Christmas plays

2.    No Room in the Inn: This story narrates the event when Joseph and Mother Mary went to a crowned inn, to take some rest. But the place was so overcrowded that they were unable to stay in that inn. Later, they took shelter in a manger along with the farm animals. Jesus was born there.

3.    The Christmas Party: This is more like a holiday party rather a Christmas play.
