Yule is the best time when you celebrate with your friends, family and your acquaintances. Children find it ideal to read beautiful stories and lift up their spirit. There are wonderful children’s Christmas books which kids love to read. In this way they also can spend their vacation in fruitful manner. Many stories also are used as scripts for many popular movies.

“Twas the Night before Christmas”

Originally published in the year 1822 this story book was written by Clement Clarke Moore in the form of poem. It was first published under name of A Visit from St. Nicholas and is still considered to be one of the most popular children’s Christmas books. It talks about Santa Claus who delivers gifts on sleigh drawn by reindeer. 

“The Twelve Prayers of Christmas”

It depicts the story of Christ’s birth through twelve beautiful poems and each poem highlight diverse personalities namely Mary and also donkey who was given the responsibility to carry Mother Mary to Bethlehem. Amongst other poems, the last poem is worth mentioning. Apart from depicting a nice story, this book also has wonderful illustrations and attractive paintings in different colors. In fact the famous illustrator namely James Bernardin has created stunning illustrations for this book.  

"The Christmas Troll"

Written by Eugene Peterson, this story teaches children about the importance of exchanging gifts and presents during winter festival. The story focuses on two children namely Andrew as well Lindsay who escapes into forest since Andrew is not allowed to open up gifts on the night before X-Mas. Inside the forest they meet a troll who actually helps Andrew to understand that the real gift is actually courage and strength that God bestows upon people. The Famous publisher Nav Press has published this book. Illustration is done by the famous illustrator Will Terry. It is surely one of the best children’s Christmas books.
